March of Dimes Rebrand
History
March of the Dimes was founded in 1938 by President Franklin Roosevelt who struggled with Polio and wanted to eradicate the Polio epidemic. The goal was to raise money and gather aid for the crisis and establish science committees dedicated to studying and eradicating the virus. This was largely a grassroots movement, with volunteers gathering money, hence “March of the Dimes.” in 1955, a vaccine was made, and it took only a few years to be rid of Polio
Their new mission was brought by Dr.Agnar, who was determined to stop birth defects, and provide premature birth care, as well keep records of health, and genetic history.
This lead to a broader approach to aiding in Pregnancy, and March of the Dimes became one of the countries most serious prenatal health programs.
